Geo Targeting or Traffic Control?
 

Hay Guys, i just found some really killer software that lets you redirect your surfers on the fly to other urls or domains. I have been looking for something to help me track my foreign traffic and let me redirect it on the fly to dialers.. thought you guys might like this its a bit expensive but other apps i have seen that are close are 4-5k.. anyhow after you get it and start converting your lost traffic it really starts to pay its self back.. anyhow check it out if u have a min..

Christ, he is charging $1400 installed on 1 site. FUCK THAT SHIT! You go look for the same script on google and you can find one for $100-200 that you install yourself so you can use it on as many sites as you want.

Wow you guys are sooo smart.

how ever show me a $200 script that lets you do all these features, and not force you to write code. This isn?t for the cool leet UNIX wiz, hence they could do something close but this is for the average Joe that knows nothing about UNIX admining, wants a nice web admin interface to do everything on.

There are high end apps similar to this that go for 4-5k so I don?t think im out of range. How ever we are thinking of lowering the price to a more reasonable price range of around $499, how ever if you think about it 1k isn?t much esp. when you make your money back pretty fast.

Most anything you buy right now from Google in the $100-200 range is just an API which then of course you need to code up things, but still doesn?t have all the features we can do in a user friendly system.

Seriously though you may have a nice product but the pricing is way off.. nobody cares that there are similar products for 4-5k coz nobody would ever buy those anyway..

I actually have been thinking about the price for some time now. While at Internext showing it off to many people they originally thought i was nuts selling it for like 300-500, and talked me into bumping the price to 1k+

Their Argument to me was that once someone buys this and gains control over their traffic and starts to take advantage of their unused or non converting traffic and send it to either dialers or other sponsors who can handle the traffic, they product pays for its self quickly.

Anyhow after some feedback from not just you guys, I have pretty much decided my price point to be around $400-500

As some people pointed out you could go to Google and look for a similar system, how ever most if not all searches will point users to API's for them to plug into code or code them selves. We try to make it easy for the non UNIX person to set up their own redirect/stats software and not have to rely on other people or programs.

Anyhow, sorry for the spam.. Wont happen again..

sextracker indeed has this, but I dont think they offer to customize the system for each webmaster off the street. Kind of a "take it as is or leave it" deal

also - the dialer rates are laughable , about half of what they should be on the big ticket countries.........

Yea the thing with Geo Redirect is you gain complete control over your system etc. Also you don?t have to rely on a 3rd party to get your stats or redirect your traffic as you please.

The thing with geo its so simple.

You have complete control over the traffic, and you can even go down deep and do redirect of *aol or ip blocks, domains etc, not just countries. You get to decide what affiliate/sponsor/dialer you send your traffic to.

another cool thing we did is set our default redirect to one exit console url now when users hit my exit pop up it sends them banners, ad's other sites based upon the rules i set with my redirection.

if you think about it its give the end users pretty powerfully tools to do what they want with their traffic also allows you to track that. So say you had a traffic deal with someone and u send them all your *aol traffic, you can monitor how much aol stuff is going to them to keep things fair..

anyhow.. with this power you can pretty much do anything.
