How much do you pay (or charge) for web design?
main page plus 3 tour pages plus join page.

i pay in xbox games.

I charge $1k/hr... but hey, I am that damn good :thumbsup

I remember a thread a while ago and $1k was thrown about as a fair price for 1 splash, 1 tour, 1 join.. which i think it is.. but that was a while ago now and things have been getting cheaper with the designer glut. I actually did some research about 6 months ago into into pricing in the adult design industry.. and found the average price for such a basic package to be around $1 - $1.4k by established companies.. bearing in mind that most will come down a little off their list price.. but im sure if i did another review the average would have dropped at least $200..

you haven't noticed? :) - i know theres always been a buttload of us, but there seem to be more and more coming to the forums and getting away with a bit of spam without really putting the time back into the "community".

more designers trickling in.. it's nothing new.. and maybe saying "the designer glut" makes it sound like some migration in the last few months, which it isn't meant to.. just saying that the average price is coming down..

the price/cost of web design is such a subjective matter. there could be an answer for each of those price ranges and still match your description. It's like saying, "How much for a car with auto transmission, 4 doors, and leather interior?" It's all relative. :)

My designer does a full paysite tour + splash + join page for $350 and he's doing a better job than alot of designers who ask 1k +

at least $10k

where does he live though? what is his experience - how old? he's certainly not 30 with 5 years XP and living in the US or the UK. $350 to him might be like $1000 to someone living in the US :)

not at all casting aspersions as to the quality of his stuff btw.
