Yeah well unfortunately I was only 3 or something when he died. I'd like to see them just once before another one does.

How'd you manage that? I don't get how i was so far back "in line". Either way, it was floor or nothing for me.

I saw AC/DC in Toronto for the SRAS show with the Rolling Stones, Rush, etc...

Damn, they stole the show. The Stones after that were great but there was no way they could top AC/DC's performance.

They started playing at the sunset. They opened with Hell's Bells. It was magical. Half million people singing along every song. I was amazed to see all the 8 years old as well as all the grand parents knowing the lyrics to most of the choruses...

We had a great spot. We actually could see the stage pretty well. Amazing I tell ya.

Too bad for the Stones: they came in and most were tired after an long day under the heat. Most couldn't hold it any longer ( there was an hour wait to go pee). They did however play a BEST OF show which they usually never do ( they usually support the new album by playing at least 5-6 songs on it)

AC/DC is definately in my top 3 live acts EVER!

I can only hope they come back around next year I guess. :( One lousy date in Canada sucks.

Joe BrainCash 09-19-2008 07:46 AM

AC/DC had far more success after Bon Scott than with him so your comment makes no sense.

Same here. I much rather go to Montreal than Toronto but apparently they are supposed be coming back in 2009. A radio station here in ottawa was giving away tickets yesterday for a concert in ottawa that has yet to be announced. I kinda doubt they will be coming to ottawa but its pretty ballsy for the station to do that.

Trying to buy some tickets for Boston, and it gets me: We couldn't find tickets that matched your request.

What are the chance for a sold out show in Boston on day the tickets go on sale?????

I blame rip off services like ticketsnow.com. That shit should not be allowed.

Tickets for Boston, Columbus, and Toronto went very quick this morning. I hate this new paperless system ticketmaster and venues are using for big name groups.

I know people that got floors for all shows, and others that were shut out. If you want to buy on the secondary market hit me up! icq 63877860

globofun 09-19-2008 08:03 AM

I give up......will just get tickets on the street! :)

Doesn't the paperless system make it basically impossible to resell the tickets since you have to show your credit card at the venue to get them? I can see why they would do it, it sounds cool in theory but not everyone resells tickets to make money, some just have things come up and can't go which is very unfair for those people.

I just spent the 30 minutes between 9.50 and 10.20 dialing ticket master and online to get tickets, and we scored 4 right here:

I'll be going to the Seattle show and seeing Metallica the next night. I stopped playing the ticketmaster game years ago. I have a good relationship with a local ticket broker.

There are ways for locals to still resell the paper less tickets. They walk with their customer to the door and then let them go in etc. Still a pain in the ass for resellers but good for the average person. There will always be brokers out there one way or another.

Always go to a ticketbox. NEVER rely on online ticket sales when it comes to big concerts.
