So the dentist forgot a gauze in my tooth...
 

Its been a while since it happened, but I was just thinking about that lately....and thought I would share that....heres the long story short:

12 years ago I had a root canal and after the surgery, I had a small bump on my gum. I thought it was due to the root canal or something, the dentist never said anything about it. Few years after, he retired and a new dentist replaced him, he told me it wasn't normal so he performed a new root canal and told me that the other dentist forgot a gauze in it and my gum was reacting to it, it never hurt since my tooth was dead....(no more nerves in it).. Gross eh?

Any of you have a story like that?

Shit! My dentist forgot his Bronco 99 ( blue) in mine... I couldn't speak and suspected something was wrong! You can imagine my surprise when I learned about it!!

The day they removed the Bronco, I lost a ton of weight...It was a good day after all :)

As a child I managed to sleeve a wobbly tooth with a drinking straw. No normal child ever wants to yank their tooth out... but damn, mine had mated with a straw.

Of course, anticipation is always far worse than the pain.

Hahaha...that's crazy....never happened anything similar to me!

Expect a bill in the mail ... for the gauze .

I had a tooth taken out yesterday and had to go back today as there is a piece of bone sticking out my gum and into my cheek. The dentist said it'll "hopefully dissolve" but if not I need to go back in 3 weeks or so and he'll cut it out. Its really annoying me and irritating the inside of my cheek. First time I had a tooth taken out and it was a big ass tooth. Took him 3 minutes of wiggling to free it, he said I had strong teeth and a strong jaw :)

an older woman from my church had surgery on her stomach and they left a ton of gauze and some other metal clip in there. she got infected and was sick so went back in. she is too nice to have made a big deal out of it. i would have gone ballistic

Reminds me of the painful 4 teeth that had to be removed for my braces... 15 years ago...!

Not the same, but after I got my wisdom teeth removed I never got any feeling back on the right side of my chin. Pretty fucked up.
