I Would Like to welcome ZANGO and AFF to a new lawsuit!!!!

everyone welcome Zango and AFF to fuckedville.

they claim its easy to reove their tool?

well, they are tools if they think thats easy compared to the avergage surfers knowledge of computers etc.

they forgot that I have VIDEO PROOF of how they steal traffic, several videos of atleast 4 different advertisers stealing from me and history server logs.

Looks like we will be going to court. The nice thing about an attorney knowing that there is a case w/ money in it that they are willign to just take a % rather than charge me by the hour.

good luck zango, you will def need it against the kaufman law group.

same with Adult Friend Finder

if noone beleives me search xbiz for the lawsuit filed by us about 2 weeks ago.

we have 20 days from the filing to start depositions.

this will be on video ofcoarse.

enjoy fellas

uno 09-19-2008 04:34 AM

Nice job.

When are you goign to take on ambiguous unnamed, unpriced double+ cross sales?

Aussie Rebel 09-19-2008 04:35 AM

Good luck Trey, I hope you rip Lars and Zango a new ass hole

dav3 09-19-2008 04:41 AM

pawsregd 09-19-2008 04:44 AM

Awesome, good for you!

StarkReality 09-19-2008 04:47 AM

Good luck, I hope some people in the industry will learn from this...

seeandsee 09-19-2008 04:50 AM

The stark reality is if people would ass holes would not be making so much money.

Keep us updated Trey. Needs a few people with balls to lead the way. Anyone notice how the patent warriors have avoided us since we took on and beat Acacia?

Boss Traffic Jim 09-19-2008 06:49 AM

Trey your lawyers should get the IRS involved and they will freeze all their biz and personal money until the court rules.:2 cents:

CaptainHowdy 09-19-2008 08:55 AM

All the best ... go get 'em.

DamageX 09-19-2008 09:10 AM

Funny, so many top-notch stand-up bros in this industry, all preaching the high morals and ethics, all 100% honest and ethical, and it takes someone who's no longer part of the industry to get things rolling... My hat goes off to you Trey, for this move. The others, well... Some day you'll all grow spines. :)

Yes a second comeback right?
Why not done it while he was still in the bizz?
Looks to me people do the right thing after they are not part of the industry anymore
Kind of double here.... Makes me think a lot

This patting of backs and sucking of dicks is a bit premature.

Your hat goes off to him for what? Him being too cowardly and spineless while he was in the biz as a site owner to do anything about it?

Search his posts. He got the ball rolling on this before he sold his assets in the industry.

If you're going to try insulting me, the very least you could do is do so in proper English. You know, it tends to help get the point across better.

I am willing to give credit where credit is due, but I just don't see it as being due to him. He started the 'battle' while he had Epic up for sale and was looking to bail out.

I have nothing but a world of respect for Airek due to his stance on tube sites and how he sticks to his guns on it (as far as I am aware, feel free to flame me if I am wrong). IMHO, that would be an example of where I feel credit is due.

My biggest issue is that I can't even count how many sponsors AND webmasters were openly anti-Zango but secretly using the service, either directly or through affiliates. No, I'm not going to make specific accusations since I have switched PCs since the whole Zango situation and no longer have conversations to use as examples to back it up. But I think you'd have to agree that my claim would be the reality of the situation since I don't go pointing fingers and trolling on boards.

Persius 09-19-2008 01:04 PM

interesting... getting some extra butter popcorn to see how this reveals itself

Deej 09-19-2008 01:07 PM

BusterBunny 09-19-2008 01:08 PM

If Trey is out of the industry then I am Jenna Jameson's baby-daddy... as a result of the threesome we had with Megan Fox...

That does not answer my question
I am Dutch btw,
you think you can categorize people with your Spine Statement?

Tjeezers 09-19-2008 03:58 PM

Trey was always an ass, he was proud on it
He is just aiming on a settlement outside court

That tells me he never changed :)

We?

There are a handful of companies that are still paying the yearly litigation fees, to see this thing through to the end. Lots and lots of companies dropped like flies.

We (as in VS), are still a part of that handful of companies. We continue to take on Acacia.

Fight the Power!

TheDoc 09-19-2008 05:15 PM

Ahh, free lawyer, that totally explains why the actual lawsuit was written up the way it was. Good luck, I really do hope you win, on principle alone.

However, a tad hypocritical either way.

nico-t 09-19-2008 09:10 PM

Lars will be a bro no matter what. He pays people drinks at shows, you definately underestimated that!

Hit me up for some free content. Sadly don't have enough money to help the ones who are fighting for the rest of us. But content I do have. ;)

bloggingseo 09-20-2008 12:52 AM

This is indeed a sig spot worthy thread.

Good luck with the lawsuit!

LeRoy 09-20-2008 01:05 AM

I'd try to settle out of court for a couple mil and run with it :)

kick their ass out! :thumbsup

TheDoc 09-20-2008 09:59 AM

Let me start off saying, this isn't an attack. I actually like Trey and do support what he is doing. Soo... Yeah.

I understand you said they were doing this for free, so whatcha gota lose other than being counter sued for everything you own?

Is this the real Complaint that was filed with the Courts? I really hope not.

If so, did you write it? If not, fire that law group, now, even if they are free. Did they actually file one court document to take on two different companies, that did two totally different things?

Personally, if I was aff/zango - I wouldn't be afraid at all even if you had Video proof. And I wouldn't settle for $750k since you have no possible way to prove how much you lost - or possibly gained. After reading that court document and it's massive amount of holes, this would be a cake walk and I would expect my Company to be sued back after that.

I guess we will wait until the Arbitrations and discovery process. Which shouldn't take more than a year or two with the way that law suit was written.

I'm just calling how I see it, I like what you are doing, but I think you will end up working for them and this is some bullshit way to drum up Trey press. It has to be.

Then it would clearly mean that Trey ain't doing this to help the industry, he was in it for the buck as well.

No....

CyberHustler 09-20-2008 10:13 AM

We all know he's never done anything out of sheer altruism, of course he's in it for a fast buck as well.

Like the vast majority of the rest of the business.

Yandros 09-21-2008 12:44 AM

This is just using the violence of the state to defeat your business competition. It will backfire and you will likely end up paying a million dollars in legal fees. Serves you right.

Compete in the market, not in the courts.

Yandros 09-21-2008 12:56 AM

I hope you fail. In my opinion this is not different to going to Zango headquarters and breaking into their building and stealing their cash/servers.

You claim that they 'steal your traffic' but traffic is an unownable aggregate in the first place. You cannot own it, because it does not exist. Individuals using computers, with software installed on those computers, are all that exist in reality. And if the software they use is not the software YOU want them to use then you've 'lost' traffic. Tough. It's called competition, and it's an essential element of market competition. That is, unless you want to live in a communist slave state.
