FHG vs. No FHG --- help please!
 

I'm going to opening a site soon and am curious if anybody has any stats they can share. I'm needing to see the difference that providing FHGs to affiliates can do. I'm torn between if I should provide them or just provide affiliates with some galleries they can host themselves. Any information would be great.

You need both.

You have lazy TGP and blog guys who want to use the FHGs and then you have the really smart webmasters who want unique looking galleries to stand out from the piles of shit that all the other TGP and blog guys use.

You should do them both :)

I love to make my own galleries for promotion. But I admit its much more easier for a program owner to make FHGs and spread 'em all over than making content zips or give accesses to the affiliates... Plus I prefer to make my own banners and I need the site logos in PSD format for these. Half of the sponsors don't give this out. :( Best and easiest way is when a sponsor puts these PSDs (for example JaymanCash) into the Ad Tools section and they give member area accesses to grab unq promo content on request (for Example DogFart).

Unique galleries always work better. But the number of webmasters who make these (especially good ones) are decreasing every single day.

ppl still need them, but there would be lots of traffic and very few sales. i'd consider better on content and paysite quality )

There is no just a choice between fhg or not fhgs,you can also offer custom fhgs,custom galleries,fhgs with reciprocal generator,and many other options....If you start maybe is best to start without them then later add them.
