The law in the Netherlands has changed since last year : no more tobacco allowed in coffeeshop joints - 'pure' ones only!

Mark Jacobsen, chairman of the BCD, a nationwide association of coffee shop owners, observed "It's absurd. In other countries they look to see whether you have marijuana in your cigarette, here they'll look to see if you've got cigarette in your marijuana."

Yep, they banned smoking like other countries... but only cigarettes.

tobacco carries thc to your brain, gets you higher.

We do that a lot here. It burns better.

Yeah right. I think people do it mainly because they want their weed to last longer. Personally I hate. I don't want to smoke tabacco.

Tobacco also kills that "chlorophyll" taste that some weeds get (from not being cured in darkness to kill it)

EU anti-smoking legislation is being taken pretty seriously in many European countries.

Not in Austria though. They still smoke (cigarettes! lol) pretty much anywhere...

Dont think so. Haven´t seen them in a long time, but i don´t know if they are banned now or not. I think there was something about it in the news not too long ago, but i dont remember.

Couple of reasons, those primarily being:
- It burns better, last longer, and more importantly
- You don't get FUBAR

Normally [or in my experience, in any case] when Europeans smoke, it seems they want to have the feeling and remain functional, so they spin.

i dont get the whole tobacco in weed thing either. They do it here in poland too, and everyone is convinced a 100&#37; weed joint would not even light despite me having smoked hundreds like that.

in Europe / Holland / Amsterdam 99&#37; of the people mix tobacco with weed if you smoke normal joints . . bongs / pipes . . usually go without tobacco

My hotel seems to be taking the new anti smoking legislation real serious - I just pray that my smoke detector does not go off!

i'm a long time tobacco smoker but if getting high quicker is the reason get better weed.
