Globill Checks Nsf

Basically im posting to let people know I got 2 Globill Checks returned NSF

the Sept 16 check and the Aug 16 Check,

now ive emailed there acounting people and got a response,

they asked for the checks or copys to be mailed to them o be investigated,

what ever, Ive heard from 4 people about bad checks from them this week, but the consensus is they will pay

I have emailed them scans of the returned checks and im waiting on a answer.

you guys can post, if your checks passed, or what the word is on globill

just curious, not ranting or bitching, so cut me some slack in you responses,

peace

harvey 10-30-2002 02:41 PM

I got a check returned yesterday because their bank account was closed and I got a little mad at them, however, I got another today with a different bank account and different company name, hope they clear up this mess

imJason 10-30-2002 02:41 PM

IM not saying they are ripping people off,

IM not saying that at all, it may be a banking error

but its not just me, they migh have had some larger fuck up,

but that does not mean they will rip yo off,

IM just opening up the discussion, see if anyone has the info

Honeyslut 10-30-2002 02:44 PM

No bounced check yet ! :) ( knock on wood )

Nismo 10-30-2002 02:44 PM

well, the reason im using them now as amy processor, is cause ive heard nothing but good things about them, aswell as i dont have to pay that damn visa fee. they seemed like the processor of choice for a newbie, but now this :(

imJason 10-30-2002 02:47 PM

Hey they said they would replace my checks,

so right now I think Ill get payed

and all will be fine,

Hey jason, there was a post from globill about this on the board not too long ago, they mentioned something about a banking error and like 10% of checks sent out had this problem but they were willing to reissue them and pay for any banking fees/fines

harvey 10-30-2002 02:51 PM

Jason: it seems we were psoting at the same time. The check I got has this company name: OTE DEVELOPMENT USA - DBA GLO-BILL.COM for bank CITIBANK F.S.B. MAybe you'd check with your sponsor or Globill themselves

imJason 10-30-2002 02:52 PM

ok, well thats more along the lines what I was thinking

this problem may have passed and been dealt with and I missed it,

I take sometimes 1 month+ to get my ass to the bank,

and IM in canada, so its probably more tiem for the checks to get processed,

still it would have been nice if they had said so in the email,

I got the impression they did not trust me, when i gave them the check numbers

they were like, PLEASE PROVIDE PROOF AND WE WILL SEE

not, sorry, well take care of it right away, can you please do one little think for us and send those checks,

imJason 10-30-2002 02:55 PM

Thhe Check I got that bounced was from

Globill Systems, Sanwa Bank California

imJason:

I have been with GloBill for well over a year...They are a great company and will honor their word.

They have hired a bunch of new people because of the onslaught of new signups due to the visa fiasco.

To my understanding, as we all know, they had to switch banks in order to be able to work around the new visa regulations...Because of this, their current bank of course put a hold on funds for 'X' amount of days, then when the money was released they sent out checks...Most likely I would say the bank tried to pull something else with either another hold, or some exorbanant fee...So, they pulled the funds and placed them in the new account...Hence, the bounced checks from the old bank.

This effected around 75 people or so...I was not effected however...But, if you were charged ANY fee's from your bank due to this...Contact them (I would say CALL them and demand to speak w/billing)...They WILL replace any fee's as long as you have proof (simple bank statement showing the fee's).

Also, because of this, I am not sure if your bank has deducted the amount of the returned check from your current bank account...If they have, also request they fedex your new check to you over night...

IMHO, GloBill is a great compnay...They stuck by their word with me and have always done so...They will also correct this error.

I posted the thread about Globill checks bouncing. That was a week and a half ago. I faxed them copies and they said they would reissue another check. I did get another check this week from them. Still haven't recieved the reissue on the first check though.

NETbilling 10-30-2002 05:47 PM

tycoon,

That was a closed minded joke, right?

Bobby 10-30-2002 07:11 PM

Wow I didn't know that a lot of webmaster could have some bounced check like that :(

I've been using Globill close to 3 years now and have nothing but good things to say about them.

I did get my first bounced check with them last week though, due to their account switchover. But they got me out a replacement check pretty quickly, which I just received today. They're an honest company. If you had a check problem, I'm sure they will send you a replacement check very soon if they have not already.

Ray@TastyDollars 10-30-2002 08:04 PM

Bounced here also :(

Shark 10-30-2002 09:19 PM

We had 3 this way and have faxed the copies in to them and are awaiting an outcome,

It seems that any checks banked or recieved after a certain date last month were returned NSF.

From what Ive heard, all checks after that certain date were issued from a new bank.

I have been with them for over 3 years and have no doubt they will come good with promise of reissuing these checks on the new account.

Tycoon, Epoch has bounced checks on me in the past also,

I'm sure most of us have had probelms with our banks at some time. :winkwink:
