It will be probably taken over by another bank. They have a big customer base.

I could have sworn my rep there sent me a notice that someone else was taking over the home loans. But I haven't been told to pay someone else yet.

stock price is low but i would stay away from it

We have one of our mortgages with them. No problems at all for us but I have heard of people having problems with them.

What about Goldman Sachs..... GS EPS is like $20 per share.

If you pick it up at $120 tommorrow after they release crap earnings you can get 16%/pa in dividends.

yep, Goldman's a blue chipper pickup, especially if you can get it at 120.. hell, I'd buy at 130-135 even

No BofA's here in Denver. I had to close my 3 accounts with them when I moved here. :(

WAMU sucks balls, they are awful, all hidden fees, they will for sure go down the with the rest

Same here, bought and sold it a couple of times, then got hooked at $12.00 and it just kept going down.

Goldman Sachs hit $116 earlier...... looks like it will dive under $120 again at some point today but could (possibly) go lower tommorrow. Todays downward pressure was due to poor results (although nowhere near as bad as expected).

I picked up a few under $120 but im holding out for a larger hopeful sub $100 purchase in the next week or so.

Who knows?

Goldman Sachs currently trading at $98/share under serious selling pressure for no particular reason other than loss of confidence...... Yielding dividend $21/share

You can make 20% annual returns if Goldman doesnt change its dividend (which it didnt do at the last meeting).

I heard Wachovia is not in great shape either.

Am I the only one who's had great experiences with WaMu? They've been great for me over the last year and a half... I hope they pull through :(

They have been great for me, they cash my Canadian checks with no hassle. When I read about the devalue in their stock , moved most of mt money elsewhere. I'll still use them to cash my Canadian checks though. :thumbsup

I had a horrible experience with WAMU too :mad:, just hearing their name makes me cringe.
