Why Not Start A Pay Site For Free ?
 

What is wrong with not spending a penny on your site ? Other than paying for the domain name you can have free content ,freelinks ,free hosting and even Build the Site Yourself for FREE and promote and market the site yourself for FREE.

In all seriousness, this may fly IF you market it to complete Net newbies. Probably will have to mess with OFFLINE marketing. The problem is the ROI of Offline is very low and migration costs are very nasty.

It seems like you're already doing some of the stuff you're suggesting...

Try to find a free lawyer real quick or you will lose your free site and free checking account

From all sponsors out there, you can get over 500,000 free pics
So let's say you had in your member's section: Bonus Sponsor Content.
You then make sure that you follow the rules of each sponsor for using their pics, using only banners and links from them on the pages where their content is displayed. Because you are showing this extra content to people who paid you to get there, you will get some decent amount of sign ups....

like a mix between AVS/paysite

low monthly memberships and the idea you giving them a shit load of daily content everyday makes them happy

There is such a think as upsells when you own a pay site...maybe showing a few pics from one of your partner's sites...but you can't just take all 500 free pictures sets from Nasty Dollars and use them as the members area of your own site. There was a guy that did just that a while back and I'm sure the lawyers are after him as we speak. Haven't heard from him since.

it's quite similar to say like a Join 4 free type site but instead of it being free just charge like $10 a month,

and just add daily hosted galleries/pics
free plugins and whatever

by no means i say take the free sponser pictures and add it the tour pages,, now that would be stupid

Yes, a join4free site might work with all free plug-ins and sponsor galleries. Hell...they didn't pay anything so what do they have to complain about?

Cali: Email the Hun yourself, own up to your mistake, and take the galleries down. He won't fuck with you if yer honest and upfront about it. You might even get some valuble advice.

Hotlinking is a bad deal.. saving pics and putting them on his site is illegal.. providing links to the sites is the internet way... no law against that..
