I'll have to ask my OpenX guru.

I use it on my blogs to rotate PoTD & MoTD. I'm sure there is a way to tweak it to be a true PoTD but for now the thumb changes on every refresh. OpenX keeps great stats too, see what thumbs are getting clicked and which ones aren't.
