I'd be crapping my pants if it got dead calm like that when I knew a storm was coming....

in fact, I wouldn't even be there at that point. I think that would be a very very good time to go visit other places in the country.

actually I believe a volcano in Alaska has been the reason for the brighter sunsets recently.

Wait until the Eye comes. During a hurricane a few years ago in florida. After it was done tearing my roof off for 2 hours. It was calm as can be for about an hour before the beating started again.
