The Belgian 'situation' in short:
- Belgium = Flanders (60% of the population) + The Walloon Region (38% of the population) +...
- For the last 175 years the Dutch speaking Flemish majority has been oppressed by the French speaking Walloon minority.
- Flemish people and politicians are demanding change and reforms... The Walloon politicians ignore this and the Walloon media (eg Le Soir) try to caricaturize the demands of the Flemish people as the ramblings of a mad man. (hence the sketch on their site)
