Tube script writers who sell their scripts.

Few questions.

1. If your against copyright theft and refuse for your script to be used in such behavior, do you provide a master list of sites or a way to search out all sites running your script for content owners to make sure they are not being violated? If not why?

2. If your script provides for off site linking of videos "hot linking", is there a way to get master coded into such scripts to be placed on a prevented list in order to stop people from assuming they can hotlink videos and doing so? Really curious on this one as I have noticed the vast majority or non large sponsors prohibit such behavior.

3. Does your script provide for cropping of video and if so why?

4. Does your script watermark content and if so can you chose where at on the content, or why it allows it?

1. Yes we are against content theft. We don't like it, we don't allow it. If you find a TEVS site that has your videos on it and you have not given that webmaster permission to use them, please contact me and I will talk to the owner. You need to be the ower of the content to make the complaint.

2. If sponsors don't want their videos hotlinked they should take those steps from their side of the server.

3. No.

4. With the current flash player we use, I think you can add a virtual watermark over the video. But I have not seen it in use other then 1 site I tested TEVS on.

Hope that answers your questions.

No it does not answer all of my questions cause you glossed over question 1. Again you say your against it, so can we get a list of sites using it?

As for number 2 if we allow hosted add material to be used as long as it is in the format we approve of, say a gallery for instance. Turning on anti hotlinking would be hurting the honest affiliates.

I think that someone that buys a script should have the privacy that comes with it.

If a business gives out my info to the public(whatever kind of business it is), I will not buy from him anymore.

and what is the logic behind that?

After Shock Media, We don't have a list for you to view. Our clients privacy is their own.
But like I said, if you find a site using YOUR content illegally, please contact me.

Whats the point of making a complaint if your not the owner of the content? Seriusly, was that a real question?
