Who buys full size videos or jpegs? (sample pictures and video inside)

Now getting inquiries and order for big images and videos. As the Internet speeds up more sponsors want better content.

So who will buy big and and better as an upsell to the normal sizes?

This is what a big full size picture look like. Cropped it to get it on the page. But not reduced the quality. We do have RAW as well.

This is the full size clients get with the new content.

OK not the prettiest girl, but looks 16 and legal 19.

I'm still looking for the AVI and Mpeg samples. Paul knows where they are. LOL

Yes Paul has me spamming.

I never really thought of bigger as an upsell. Always assumed people want to sell their best to clients.

Biggest are for magazine print or on tape. Very few want them as normal.

Never noticed that. I know when I buy content, most shooters provide the highest resolution they have.

I shoot for magazines in Raw format which is about 8Mb per picture.

:error Even with my knowledge I have, I think that you would notice the different when you would downloading set of 100 pictures that size how slow it will be. It could be faster and better to have it send by post.

You're getting the highest quality they have on the server. The highest quality they have would be tough to put on a server and few would want to download it.

Maybe we could try a few of the higher price scenes and include the AVI for the same price. Not going to include it for the $5 scenes. LOL

Yes she's not the prettiest but she will sell to the Teen mags.

I always provide the largest resolution I have.

TubeSubmitters 09-11-2008 07:01 AM

looks more like 30 to me

DutchTeenCash 09-11-2008 07:07 AM

its an sellingpoint for sure

I see more n more sites doing 5000-7000 pix images, the more artistic ones, were at 1500 minimum and never get a "do you have bigger pics" question

but arty stuff im sure sells good with huge pics

I think we could as well. we could do 100 sets at the largest resolution we have and it would be about 10 GB each set now is shot in RAW which is around 8 mgb a picture. Could give the Jpegs as they are 3506 x 2336 and only 2.5 mgb a picture. 1 set I shot a little while back of 136 images has not been edited and the RAW file is just over a Gig and the Jpegs are 321 meg.

It's really about the videos that I'm asking. The AVI version is often what people who edit themselves ask for. On a 20 minutes scene it's often over 5 Gig. At the moment we send them via Fed Ex as few want to download a lot and it's the big clients who want them.

Would more people buy if we sold bigger videos and offered them for download off the server with FTP?

Never know until you try it I suppose. LOL

I am starting to upload the big AVI to some of the most recent scenes uploaded to the store, will take a long time. :(

Will also offer to upload them and the others we have to clients servers.

Will spam it out tonight and we can see the reaction. Do people want the biggest we have?
