Anyone running phpmotion on an adult site?
 

Looking at several tube scripts and i know phpmotion doesn't want you using it on adult sites, but since it's a free script, what are they gonna do, tell you no? Seeing if anyone is admitting to using it on an adult site.. checking to see its use for a site design. Ponying up $250 for TEVS right now for an "idea" isn't thrilling me.. thanks

I wouldn't use it for an adult site, just use the free nubiles script to start out if you are on a budget.

What makes you think that its cool to do whatever you want with someones very specifically liscenced work? It is his code, his work, and he is very specific about what its to be used on.

If you're gonna stiff him for something so little as 250 bucks (that you dont wanna spend), what other morals/ethics are you willing to cross or drop for a fee?

If you are willing to do that for 250 bucks I can imagine just how shady you get when it comes to real money.

I am pretty sure you dont work for free, why expect someone else too.

it has a "call home" deal built in during install. Basically if your domain has a porn name in it, the script will know and lock you out with a message about no porn..

thats cool.. just didn't know the ins and outs of it. already have the nubiles one, will try it out... and use phpmotion on my mainstream stuff... thanks all

I always tell webmasters -- if you can't make $250 back from a site (any site) then your in the wrong business. A TEVS license is for lifetime, so you have 100 years to make your money back. Most webmasters get their outlay back in 1 week.

I had it installed on an adult domain once, never had any issues....so I dunno about that "call home" feature someone mentioned, unless that's something that's been added since I tried it.

I didn't use it though, we went with something else.

yep adult domain = locks you out of admin :)
