What would happen , if Biden all of a sudden resigned citing health concerns......

and OBAMA smartened up and picked HILLARY, like he should of done in the 1st place.............. you think it would ever happen ?

baddog 09-10-2008 06:26 PM

Not likely.

seeric 09-10-2008 06:27 PM

i think palin has a vagina and she was picked for it. bottom line.

put a man in the exact same scenario and no way he'd be the vp candidate.

no way.

obama is better off with biden. hillary doesnt want to be vp. she wants to be president.

Not in her mind. And I'm betting Obama would have a really difficult time believing that she would actually be on his side... I could see her spending all four years plotting the next election.

Way too late to add her now, even if she would take it [more doubtful]. Would do more damage than good IMHO.

Snake Doctor 09-10-2008 06:42 PM

I'm sure Biden received a very thorough physical before even beginning his own Presidential campaign last year.
It's par for the course and very doubtful that any health issue would sneak up on him this late in the game.

Also, FWIW, Palin was picked as a direct response to Hillary not being picked. Had Obama picked Hillary, McCain probably would have picked someone else who would have helped him in other ways.....and a bunch of people would be here debating on how Obama should have picked someone like Biden. :2 cents:

I was going to ask if that was the reason for your question.

gornyhuy 09-10-2008 07:53 PM

They'd be checking her for weapons and poison every time she came to the oval office.

I saw that too. He has a bad habit of saying incredibly stupid things but he can't help himself he just loves hearing himself speak.

fatfoo 09-10-2008 08:32 PM

I say not likely

scubadiver626 09-10-2008 08:37 PM

less than 60 days left till election...would look like dems are in a mad scramble to catch up with Palin's attention level and furthermore show indecisiveness Republicans would be ALL OVER Obama's ass if he switched his mind half way thru...He made his bed with Biden now he has to sleep in it (wow that sounds gay.)

Drake 09-10-2008 09:37 PM

She would not have accepted then or now to be VP so all the pundits and people saying he should have picked Hillary are preaching to the choir.
