Online task management

HI all

does anyone here use any tools, to help organise and manage tasks etc for their employees? I am looking for a basic tool, that will help keep track etc of things i want my employees to do, and the status of each task etc

Any suggestions?

no not a ticket, but a way of listing tasks for my staff, and then easily comment. These arent complicated tasks.. hence i dont want a full ticket system. Might be something as simple as email person X, or make 10 hosted gals.. So i am looking for something light and simple to use.. which wont introduce a ton of overhead

theres some slim, basic ticket systems that are quick and easy to install.
take a look at this:

Sounds like Basecamp is exactly what you need. They have a free version that you should try out. I started with that and eventually upgraded. It's not bloated like most project management software. Use my ref if you'd like... BasecampHQ

easy, opensource and free. Off course, it's a shit we don't have anyone to complain if something goes wrong, or, we don't have any professional support, but it have been working pretty good for me for years
;)

Easy to use and you don't have to use all the functions. Just create a general section and apply tickets/bugs/fixes. Very good emailing system on each task and updating you on status es or notes being added.
