Will tell you how much money your state gets back for every dollar it puts in to the federal government. I'm in Illinois and currently getting fucked. Only $0.75 for every dollar that we pay in.

CA - 43 did anyone see Washington D.C. at the bottom with $5.55!!! I know its our capitol but damn so for every dollar they kick in they get 5 and a half back...I wonder if that includes the military spending?

D.C. is real poor. Anyone with money is living out in the burbs there. I'd also imagine they get a lot more for security and other stuff related to the capital.

Looks like the bigger, wealthier states get fucked over. NY, CA. IL, NJ all at the bottom of the list

It actually looks more like the red states are the welfare states. Is amusing to hear Republicans whine about government handouts when their states are the ones sucking off the teat of the blue states.
