Maya's Where Right :)

12.12.2012 last day in Maya's calendar

I heard one scenario, that CERN shit will make small black holes that will eat hole earth in few years, right in time for Maya's calendar :upsidedow

dav3 09-09-2008 02:41 AM

Yes, but the the Mayans also predicted that black holes are not completely black, but also have spots of yellow. Which were crudely drawn on cave walls and modernly reproduced to look similar to this:

I saw a documentary once where the Mayans had made a battery and also had drawings of men with a type of helmet with hoses connected to it.

I always thought 'mayas' is them as a whole and mayans was a subcatergory or a society

Hell, google is always right, They should teach it in school!

Um I thought it ended on December (12) twenty first (21) two thousand and twelve (2012)? 12.21.2012

I already was wrong in the thread once, so I would double check. I do think that is the correct date before it resets.

Yeap you are right, i was confused with 12.12.2012 because that day Sun will be on longest patch from Earth.

There is a church in Europe I think that has a carving of an Astronaut on it and the carving like like 800 years old or something.

The church I was talking about is in Spain.
Might try and grab a link in a min

NOTE: The astronomer Philip Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all, that it is like the odometer on your car, as each section of the odometer reaches 9 and then clicks over to 0, the next number to it starts a new cycle, so that when all the numbers again reach 0 all the way across the odometer - the last number will change from 1 to 2 and the new cycle starts all over again.
