My first suggestion is for you to start thinking like a user. Go to your splash page and tell me where the most logical place to click is.. You have no idea right? All the links are the same colour, I almost think the page is like a link list with a banner on top of some chick. Can hardly tell this is a paysite by the splash page.. And if this is where you're sending all your traffic to, what will happen? I'm guessing you will lose at least 25% if not more like 50% of your traffic right away because of that link swamp on the lower portion of your page.

You need to make it obvious to the user where to click, or they won't know! You are their mother, you must lead them to the milk!

Build sites and galleries to feed it.

Get rid of that entry blur - pop an exit if you must but a blur on a paysite?

No-one is going to give you traffic - start feeding it with free sites AVS sites TGP galleries - pic post submissions. Feed your exit traffic off to top lists that will send you some more in return.

Optimise your site for search engines and submit it by hand to the big ones.

Work on it every day.

I think Socks was being polite - your front page is boring. That's your one chance to grab the surfer by the balls and drag him into your site.

At the moment its so bland that the surfers will leave. Use bright colors - exciting words - use some images that look good. The ones that you have there at the moment would turn people away rather than attract them and think seriously about those traffic leaks down the bottom of the page.

The ideal splash page for a paysite gives the surfer just two choices - Join or Take the Tour

Hiya,

I run an amateur site too.. and one thing I would suggest is to have a secondary index page.. one that you send the targeted traffic to. Make it a clean site..completely, no out links at all... and then you can always have an exit (smallish) with your trade links on it. One exit won't scare away return visitors, they are used to alot worse with amateurs. Make the text links inviting, so they'll click on them and get you up higher on the lists you are linking to. You can always add some pics to the exit of some of the other girls you are linking with.

Anyhow, the index page you have now, would really only be good for traffic you are trying to lose. Even on a clean index page, you lose people because it may not make them want to enter, but adding to that your links to other sites, you are likely to lose alot of your traffic there. Which isn't that bad if you are losing your unqualified traffic and are only left with the people who are interested in BBW webcams.

Good call Catalinas - we have two entry pages - 1 that we feed that has all the recips that we have an obligation to carry and a leakless one for our affiliates.

Our page with the recips doesn't look quite like Prophet's one though

Prophet 10-29-2002 10:35 PM

hmm im not sure how that works im going to have Denice contact you on ICQ though since its really her site,i just work there lol.

But honestly thank you all so much for the feedback!

just being honest and being as nice as possible.....

You need to learn how to center tables and text within tables I realise you made the page on a 600x800 system but most users use higher resolutions and nothing is lining up. open it in a graphical page builder and and center the table itself within the table properties. Your color scheme is so geocities java page builder.....remove that counter, if people actualy know you get shit for viewers, do you think they will stay? too many of those "100%" banners in one spot....Your banner at top of page would scare people off more than intice them. Gimme 200 bux and one night and I'll have something where people may actualy NOT rush for the "X".

Prophet 10-30-2002 03:55 AM

well like i said its our first site. But we are taking in EVERYTHING you guys are saying. The banner at the top is of Jodi and Denice on the right. It's her site. I wasnt aware of the tables and links being outta wack in a higher resolution,TY for bringing that up.
