TF2, Football manager 2008, Soul calibur IV.

Call Of Duty 4, and Fifa 08.


Soon to be COD 5, and Fifa 09... ;-)

Just got Mercenaries 2 on the weekend still playing halo 3 online although as you can see not nearly enough though. Also been playin quiet abit of COD4 too and not forgetting the awesome GTA so many games so little time :disgust

Braid on Live Arcade is the most wonderful, charming, unusual game I've played for years.

Hard to describe. Kind of a puzzle solving platform game, where you can adjust time. The artwork and soundtrack as stunning.

I recently upgraded my gaming desktop. And man this new games are just fuckin' dumb. I bought a few, like COD4, Crysis.
I finished COD4 in a few hours, never plaed it again. Crysis was pretty cool, but nothing to come back to.
The new games have great graphics, but they are just missing something. I remember playing Diablo, Enemy territory, Civilisation, Black & White.. Those were the games that I wanted to get home ASAP to play them.
Maybe you guys can recommend me something?

I'm playing Mercenaries 2 on my newly acquired ps3. I'll check out an occasional "look at this addictive flash game I found" from a thread but I've always been a stickler that my computer is for work and my console is for games.

I sit in front of this monitor too much as it is!

I play tycoon sort of games but those are getting harder and harder to find. I have also been in and out of Sims addiction for years now.

Yes, it is and yet I enjoy it and so do a lot of other people. I just never got into shooting games and that sort of thing but I do like 'god games' and The Sims fed well into that from the start. I am looking forward to Sims 3. I don't play it all that often these days but when a new addon comes out I get it and play for a week or so.

I played it for a few hours, but I just didn't see any forward movement. I love sim games like Railroad Tycoon, and Sim City, but The Sims was dull.

Anyone played City Life? Is it any good?

To each their own. I like open play sandbox games sometimes. I will say though, the newer expansion packs have added more game play,as such, to it if you want it. The buisness addon is actually a good buisness simulator, for example.

I miss playing Railroad Tycoon actually...might need to hunt it out. There really doesn't appear to be many tycoon games coming out these days. I used to buy just about anything with Tycoon or Empire in the title.

I played AoE 1-3, StarCraft, and CS. I refuse to play WoW, because of obvious reasons :) --- I still play Battlefield 2 every now and then...

I played it and enjoyed it for about a week and then it ran out of steam for me but it was fun for that period.
