the rumor on the Net so far is that Brady has a torn ACL and will be gone for the season
if that's true i'm really not happy about it - winning because some other team's best player is hurt taints it. it's like the Houston Rockets winning the NBA championships the 2 years that Michael Jordan 'retired' to play baseball. Tainted. |
Yet Danny Bonaduce continues to make awful remarks on VH1 shows throughout the perpetuity of the universe..

It doesn't matter. They will still win and roll deep in the playoffs, if not The SB.
Brady is overrated, the result of a great system. |

if Brady is gone for a season then it will be a great test of Bellichick's system and go a long way in answering the 'is it Brady?' or 'is it Bellichick?' question as to who is the bigger factor in the Patriots dynasty. Obviously it's both - they have been a perfect fit - but I don't think the Patriots and Bellichick would have achieved what they have without Brady or somebody of his caliber. Bellichick's genius is overrated - with an average QB which 3/4's of the NFL teams have he wouldn't be winning Super Bowls - he'd get a team with an average QB into the playoffs and that's it.

I think it will be a huge blow to the pats

And whether or not you want to admit it or use a process of elimination because every other team in the league and other players are so bad, that's entirely up to you. If you want to find someone overrated look at Peyton Manning. The guy was supposed to win a superbowl every year since he came in to the league and finally pulled off one because the Patriots were stacked with rookies and key injuries. |

Okay, I'll be a little surprised, but still... There might be some slight reasoning to the way you're thinking. |
I hate the Patriots but I have to admit that Brady is the best QB of all time. He showed last year what he can do with a full slate of offensive weapons. Watching him play is something spacial. It is a shame to see him go down. :(
Having said that..... fuck the Patriots!!!!!!! |
At least we can all agree that it wasn't a malicious play, right?
Right? Btw, going with the word "Awsome" in the title probably wasn't the smartest choice. It's in pretty poor taste to be happy about or otherwise cheer over an injured player, no matter how serious the injury is. Even if it sends the player out for only that one game do people really think that one "win" would be complete? |
