Not digging the Google Chrome Browser so far

Played with it for a day or so tbh ehhhhh....

Maybe cause i am so set into what i have been using for years its hard to "change"

GigoloShawn 09-05-2008 04:12 PM

Hey, Juicy, click here.

sprintf() is hard.

StuartD 09-05-2008 04:14 PM

Nah, it's just that there's not much to it yet. Give it some time and try it again after there's been some more features and extras made for it.

Yeah , once they get it rolling it looks promsing so far...

I wonder if RoboForm will unleash a compatability thing for it down the road

acctman 09-05-2008 04:20 PM

i uninstalled it and went back to IE 8 Beta 2, i'm really liking that. best IE version thus far

SilentKnight 09-05-2008 04:21 PM

Its quicker than the opera I've been runnin' for a long time...but rather bare bones so far.

I'll keep it around awhile and see what improvements happen.

dav3 09-05-2008 04:49 PM

Tried Chrome for about 2 minutes, then uninstalled it.

:1orglaugh

i gave it about 30 minutes.

then after uninstall, the google updater tried accessing the net..so it doesn't uninstall everything. The google file in application data was still 13Mb

Persius 09-05-2008 04:59 PM

ill stick with Firefox

But I still don't like the idea that every Chrome browser has it's own ID which is used to save your surfing history...

MBS Auto 09-05-2008 05:10 PM

I am sticking with Firefox

fatfoo 09-05-2008 06:22 PM

yeah... hmm...

bbm 09-05-2008 07:32 PM

It's ok if you want a cleanly designed, but not very functional browser.

Good for surfers and other basic users that like to have their searches and browsing habits reported back to the G.

Not very good if you already have a work flow/surfing habit layed out in another browser.

stickyfingerz 09-05-2008 08:54 PM

Im actually like it better than FF 3 right now. Ran it 3 days or more now with 0 issues.

Bojangles 09-05-2008 08:55 PM

FireFox for me.

I agree and lack of roboform is whats keeping me from trying it even more...

slapass 09-06-2008 05:35 AM

I love how fast it is. The new firefox mades some changes Iam not so keen on so the look and feel of Chrome is not putting as it would be if firefox was like it was last week. Change is change so why not go faster.

pocketkangaroo 09-06-2008 06:13 AM

I like it although we're probably about 6 months or a year away from having some cool plug-ins for it. As someone mentioned earlier, not sure I'm down with my browser history being stored.

seeandsee 09-06-2008 07:34 AM

Chrome is Crome :)
