I watched every minute and was not in the least bit inspired, with the exception of his story about his time as a POW Vietnam. That was interesting.

The speech didn't pick up until the final 3rd of it, and only about the last quarter or less was good. His speech still didn't hold a candle to Obama's.

There was positives and negatives in his speech. I don't think he knocked it out :2 cents:

Welfare is such a small part of our federal budget. We pay much more in just interest on our debt that Republicans like McCain have helped build up over the years.

The idea that welfare is the problem is like saying a person 50 grand in debt is that way because they don't cut enough coupons.
