What are your Superbowl predictions? Before kickoff please.

Tough time to pick without even so much as a game played, however....

I think I like Indy and New Orleans.

San Diego and New England both should do well, but both have big loss hangovers....

RyuLion 09-04-2008 09:59 AM

I'm gonna win..

Martin Luther Ping 09-04-2008 09:59 AM

Patriots for the win

Spudman 09-04-2008 10:02 AM

when is the superbowl?

The Truth Hurts 09-04-2008 10:02 AM

New England over Dallas

Joe BrainCash 09-04-2008 10:03 AM

This year, it'll be the Colts, assuming manning is not injured... I'd love to seee them against Dallas!

Romo will never win anything big like the SuperBowl.

Chauncy 09-04-2008 10:06 AM

Jacksonville vs. Eagles

Eagles win

GT-Omar 09-04-2008 10:07 AM

I can't even believe I'm saying this, but I think Dallas might just have it. From all the teams in the nfc playoffs last year. They are the most intact team. Meaning they haven't lost many players to trades, injuries, retirement etc..... I hate the cowboys.

I'm huge Giants fan, but between all the trades, injuries, and retired players this off season. I think if they make it to the playoffs they have had a great year.

I picked them to beat NE when everyone thought I was crazy. They should have won that game, they offer everything the Pats have trouble with.

Scott McD 09-04-2008 10:26 AM

Cowboys or Colts :2 cents:

Wouldn't it be great? Or how about the Jets VS the Giants... Too bad it will never happen! It'll take more than Brett Favre to see the Jets make it to the finals.

AVNSherri 09-04-2008 11:13 AM

Much as it pains me to say this, seeing as I am a die-hard Steelers fan, I think it will be San Diego over New Orleans.

madm1k3 09-04-2008 11:14 AM

Seahawks Vs Colts with the Seahawks winning! (NFL Owes Us For Last Time They Fucked Us In The Superbowl)

Cowboys kicks the Pat's ass :thumbsup

arial 09-04-2008 11:31 AM

I would have said Green Bay vs New England but Ted Thompson is an idiot and traded Favre to keep Rodgers as the starter, the guy gets injured when a gust of wind hits him.

Cory W 09-04-2008 12:58 PM

Keep 'em coming...

theharvman 09-04-2008 01:04 PM

They had an outstanding draft. I am a huge Chief's fan, spent many days and nights at Arrowhead watching them in the 90s.

Cory W 09-04-2008 03:42 PM

Bump....

CDSmith 09-04-2008 04:06 PM

Did somebody say left field? :D

Steelers vs 49'ers

niners for the win. muhahaa

Quentin 09-04-2008 04:27 PM

As long as we're going out on limbs, might as well get really specific.

Colts over Carolina, 24-21 on a last second field goal.

Manning goes down with an injury late in the 2nd quarter, with the Colts leading 17-7, and is replaced by Sorgi. Sorgi struggles mightily until late in the 4th, when he completes a desperation 4th down pass to Clark at the Colt's 38 yard line. Backed up in the dime defense, the Panthers defense allows Clark to scamper to midfield before bringing him down.

With just enough time for a single play before using their final timeout to set up a field goal, Sorgi hits Wayne over the middle at the Carolina 29.

Vinatieri then takes the field, kicks the game winning field goal, and the Panthers collectively collapse into a shuddering heap of tears on their sideline.

The next day, it is revealed that Vinatieri tested positive for a banned, performance-enhancing drug, and the NFL finds itself mired in a steroid scandal.

Hillary Clinton, still bitter over being passed over for the Democratic nomination, calls for an immediate investigation, and demands that President McCain appoint an independent prosecutor to head up the inquiry. In the meantime, Clinton says, the awarding of the Vince Lombardi trophy should be suspended, and no parades should be given for the Colts.

An outraged Indianapolis fan named Daniel McLopez Mohammed-Nyugen III travels to Washington D.C., clutching a newly purchased .38 in his lap, rocking back and forth slowly as he hums the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Arriving at Capitol Hill, he takes careful aim and squeezes the trigger -- only to discover that he has accidentally killed a male hot dog vendor that he merely mistook for Clinton.

The following day, Harry Reid proposes new legislation requiring (1) a longer waiting period on handgun purchases, and (2) a ban on hot dog vendors wearing pantsuits.

Or maybe it will be 27-24.... that part I'm not so sure about.

This has to be the year for Dallas. They have to win it all.

Dallas over the Patriots in Tampa.. Should be a great superbowl.

aico 09-04-2008 04:38 PM

Seahawks FTW.

Now that they got rid of the worthless fuck Shaun Alexander
