for proper model extractions you NEVER select white and remove- you always pen tool that shit out so its crisp - on average a model extraction takes 10 minutes - depending on hair and negative space.

Some designer's tend to be pretty busy guy's and most designer's do not work by the minute or the hour. We are paid for creativity, and even mundane things like taking out a background even though may only take 1 minute or 2 minutes are still entitled to charge what the time is worth to us, sure it takes no skill for someone with experience but it still remains a skill that a client may not have or may not want to deal with time wise.

There are like 20 designers on GFY at all times. Settle for a smaller price but it makes no sense to dive one someone that states a price. TO much? GO find a cheaper designer.

Sure the stuff designers do look easy or even simple or even awesome and great looking stuff but one simple fact is that we get paid for two reasons.

A: We know how to do something.
B: The Person Paying does not have the time to do it themsleves or learn or can care the fuck less.

I was also gonna say Sometimes designers politely turn away business by quoting a higher price. I do it sometimes especially if my time is full or I am extremely busy.

It works both ways to. If I am not to busy my prices tend to be cheaper and the flat rates apply for those that schedual in advance.
