I'm posting here to make my first and only announcement: I am finally launching my adult design presentation site - http://wedesignxxx.com .

I would like to hear your opinions on the site and to thank everyone who helped me and took their time to comment on it while it was in development stages.

trying to listen to lewis black, and all of the sudden an overly loud cliché loop drowns him out..

I like it too, so did many others, but it is gone on the next version of our site, as some people did not like it. More did like it, than did not, but some left because of it:321GFY

Good luck with your new site. I have just visited it and looks cool. I'm not sure that using flash for the interface was a good idea, but I hope it works out well.

I only wish you would have told me about the new project before. I thought we were friends...:)

you've no doubt put alot of time into this Flash interface, because I know.... Flash is just too cool for school.... BUT, your basic graphic skills aren't up to snuff, and no amount of fancy Flash can hide that. It's like giving a '72 Pinto a new paintjob: it looks better than it did before, but underneath, it's still a rolling nightmare.

Specifics:

1. The backgrounding graphics look pretty good. (What's up with the lake rising and sinking though?)

2. Your main image cuts are a little rough, lack clarity and depth.

3. The overall concept tries desperately to come across as 'tech', but falls short from lack of definition and sharpness. It's almost like, you got halfway there, and then mixed it with some half-baked cartoony stuff to hurry up and get it done.

4. Your interface as a whole lacks solid positioning.... no matter how I look at it, I still feel as though something has slipped out of place and I'm unable to put it back where it belongs.... and that is VERY irritating.

I think your Flash work is promising... with time, you'll be one seriously scary Flasher. But your graphic skills need more shop time.

I don't understand #4, be more specific, what's so irritating?

just cuz it runs up into the top of the browser without any defining edge.... which is cool, I do it all the time, but then you have the menu, acting like a defining edge, but it's not.... but it is.... but it's not..... that with the site being very short vertically, just makes me wanna find a way to pull the whole site down about 1/2 an inch.

But again, that's just me...
personally, I'd either stretch out the site vertically so it's a little longer or put a defining edge at the top, and drop it with a page margin of 10 or 20.... one or the other of those methods would work, but just enough of either of those to eliminate the feeling that it needs to be pulled down into position....

not tryin' to get all supertechnical on ya.... but that was my very first impression when I opened the site.... I wanted it to be more 'down' on the page, and I can't put it there.... to me that's irritating.... to anyone else, probly not... who knows... I'm a crackhead.... don't listen to me. :)

now I understand.. I was thinking myslef that the site is too short, I planned to do make it larger, add some fancy effects on the background (moving lines, electrons... ), but I applied the kiss rule (keep it simple stupid) .
anyway I'll make it larger.. I'll add a new section/ or smth like this..
