While watching her speech, seeing all the signs in the backgrounds and the buttons that all mention drilling. She has spoke a lot about Alaska and also about drilling it.

Was she really picked just for the prospect of oil? OK there would be a few other reasons but it really seems like this is a major reason.

She's intelligent and well spoken but she's a republican so that sucks.
