I don't understand women...
 

My gf just got an offer to participate in some programming course, with a pretty big discount cos she's a chick. Ofcourse, it's a great opportunity and all that shit, and she's very happy with it.

However, one thing I don't understand...

I'm a pretty good programmer myself. People pay me very good money for it, and I'm proficient in quite a few programming languages.
Now, I offered to teach her how to program a million times already, in every single language she could possibly want, including PHP, C/C++, Turbo Pascal, Modula 3, Prolog, Delphi, Java, JavaScript, Basic, and many more.
But, instead of letting me teach her a real programming language for free, she chooses to pay to learn visual basic. Visual basic for god's sake!
What the hell is up with that!? Why doesn't she trust me enough to let me teach her some things?

Bawdy is probably right but do yourself a favor and take a tip from old married couples... don't think too much about anything the other partner does!

If you ever notice the old folks that have been married for 40 plus years you will see that they never get upset about what the other partner does. They realize at some point that you just can't really figure the other sex out and they are gonna do what they are gonna do. Just let them do what they want with themselves and the pussy will always be warm and waiting when you get home.

Just about everything. Because it's "visual", the things you can do with it are pretty limited, and the compiled EXEs are slow as hell. Also, a VB program is on average about 5 times the size of a C program that does exactly the same thing. Besides that, portability is ofcourse non-existent with VB.
There are many other issues, but I won't go into all of them right now.

Because women are stubborn. My ex gf, who is still a friend, has been given tons and tons of advice by me. But she never takes it, and in the long run it turns out my advice is always right. Yet she still won't take it.

Why would she want you to teach her? You have advanced knowledge, you'll probably expect her to learn very quickly, and you have no teaching experience, correct?

For beginners, teachers are a pretty good way to go.

Just keep in mind that everything that comes out of their mouth is self serving and a complete lie.

Your problem lies in that you most likely believe what they tell you. Which is enough to confuse anyone. Step back and look at them, question everything they say, and the blinders will be removed. And you will see them for the life sucking psychopaths they really are.
