I read the documentation for blogdesk. it doesnt say how many blogs you can use it on. i am guessing that you input the root blog url and the admin and pass for the blog. Any limits on how many blogs, i am looking at around 200 total.

i have it running about 100 right now. i dont believe there is a limit.


yes, you just put the url for the blog, username and password. Its VERY easy to setup and use.

yup blogdesk rocks...i have about 70 blogs in it, plus it downloads all the categories for each blog and lets you add tags

I use livewriter from microsoft and love it.

thats pretty much the seller right there.

too bad it doesn't clone themes and cross breed the settings and plugins from one to the other like the wp cloner does, all in one spot.

these are the two i've heard most about.

IMHO blogdesk and live writer both are good and have their own pros n cons

Blog Desk

Pros
*Ability to crop images and add a few effects such as shadow, frame etc
*Ability to post a blog entry accross multiple blogs in one go (Just select the blogs and categories)

Cons
*Not able to add new categories

Live Writer

Pros
*Ability to crop images and add a few effects such as shadow, frame etc (Add On)
*Ability to add categories on the fly

Cons
*Cannot cross post multiple blogs

Another blogging client I have tried but not been able to use much is Zoundry Raven
