Take a chance !
use www.translationsxxx.com
I speak/read german and I'll check the results for you
AND ask a few of my german friends or studios to have a look at it (who are in this bizz).
This way you can eliminate most or all errors.

Hotmovies for example has "home" translated as "Thuis" on their homepage in the Dutch language; meaning "At home in your house"...lol
I see why you don't want that.

CarlosTheGaucho 09-01-2008 11:49 AM

Yeah hit up www.translationsxxx.com I am sure Mo is going to take care about it.

You can always consult with natives to doublecheck the output.

I guess the main problem is that you always need to be a good writer in first place plus have the feel for the right language use, apart from beeing native and gramatically perfect.

I understand your concern, however keep in mind that most of so called agencies are in reality a one man show ( or two) which look for translators on the web when a job comes in.

In our case we have a team of translators that has been working with us for 4 years.

You can check some of our German translations here:

http://sexyadv.com/de/

http://main.tawneestone.com/res/3672...rman/co/nc/pi/

http://main.jordancapri.com/res/3672...rman/co/nc/pi/

We always ask our clients to allow us to check the final implementation of the text to ensure accuracy.
