People, calm down. They aren't specifically stupid for sitting around, the people that usually die in these things are sitting in their house hoping to ride shit out. There are thousands of cops and other people there. My friend usually drives down to watch hurricanes come in and it's not all that dangerous as long as you get somewhere safe when it matters.

Idiots. But they are making some sort of history.

I kept the window open on all night....When I would wake up in the middle of the night, I would check.....Sometimes there was sound, sometimes there wasn't...But then around 5 this morning, I heard thunder and rain.....In fact, it was kind of soothing to sleep to....

Then later I heard, "I'm about to run out of power guys"......But it stayed up for maybe another hour without sound....Then it went black.

The roof of the building that was behind us on hurricam just blew off. Very high winds and strong rain now.
