Is a Military experienced President important to You?
and are the canidates that are'nt, the ones to be afraid of?
|
Well, I'd prefer that they not suck so bad that they did something idiotic like get captured and held prisoner.
|
I dont think it matters when you are surrounded with great military minds. Also in the case of Mccain he wasnt that great of a military officer of course since my party has no fucking back bone they wont touch that. IF it was the other way around they would be having a field day with it like they did to Kerry and to mccain in 2000.

No, I don't expect my president to have served in the Military. I would prefer a Business Men that will improve the economy, like Steve Forbs.

John McCain is not a war hero, he is a shitty pilot.

Knowledge is good but often times military men "love" war and seem to get off on it to some level, which isn't a good quality for a president.
|
I personally think that in order to run for president you must have served your country. No matter how smart the military minds are around you, you must know first hand whats going on.
I also think that in order to run for congress you should have a military background. |

Not sure what happened there. What I meant to say is I agree.

I don't care, as long its not war against porn... and dollar isn't getting worse :pimp
The generals have the competence - if needed :winkwink: |
I dont think it matters all that much, most recent war heros all lost their elections
Bush Sr vs Clinton Dole vs Clinton Kerry vs Bush and hopefully McCain vs Obama |
Experience of any kind is worthless unless you've learned from it.
