the movie actually spooked me.
|
I was really surprised how good the movie was man. It had me on edge. I didn't know about all that really cause I was too young so it was cool not really knowing anything about the Zodiac shit and then seeing the movie.
It's like my brother in-law was in a couple weeks ago (he's 22) and he had NEVER HEARD of the L.A. riots or the Rodney King beating. I was like...dude are you fucking serious? |
I just went back and finished reading that story and watching the vid. WOW...there is no WAY that guy isn't the Zodiac lol

i are the zodiac....

"The identity of the Zodiac Killer is Jack Tarrance. He's my stepfather," says Dennis Kaufman.
|
I think this is the same guy Paul Avery named in his book. But who cares, It won't even matter if they do solve it. Whats more interesting? The legacy of the Zodiac or the loser that died 2 years ago. The Zodiac Killer made his spot in history 30 years ago. Who has a bigger rep than him?
Jack the Ripper Boston Strangler Jeffery Dahmer Thats all star company in the crazy world of homicidle killers |
guy has some father issues.
|
Man, i kind of hope it's not him. Just to keep the Zodiac a legend. I know it's weird and all, but fuck it. the guy was a god amongst derranged psychopaths. he taunted the law, and had the mass in fear. He played his little game with precision and was never unmasked. I think that's a nice way to end the story. But then again, i guess the whole point of serial murder ultimately becomes a recognition thing. You know, if it was this guy, there's a good chance he wanted people to discover the identity of the zodiac after his passing. Weird story all around though. will be interesting to see if it really is him.
|
Actually, I think (if it's the guy) that he planned it this way. He wanted to get away with it until he died, then leave shit for people to find. Who takes a box full of pictures and never gets the film developed, then leaves it lying in some random old box? Why did he mention that PA to his step son so many times? The way this guy carried out his murders and the letters baiting police etc, I don't think he'd be that careless if he didn't want the stuff found. I think this is his proverbial "last laugh".
|
I remmber a few months ago this same guy was claiming he had proof that it was his step father. Would be fucked up to say the least if he finds out it's true.
I'd also say the guy would likely want people to know it was him after he died. |
I just did a little reading on this Jack Tarrance as a suspect, and Dennis kaufman, the stepson making the accusations. Apparently this is nothing new. The guy has been rambling about Tarrance being the Zodiac since BEFORE he was even dead. Much of the evidence he has provided to police and the FBI up until now has been ruled out. A large portion o the Zodiac "enthusiast" (if thats what you want to call it) scene seem to view Kaufman as a total crackpot trying to cash in on the Zodiac phenomenon. He has supposedly attempted to sell "authentic zodiac" artifacts to alot of people. Etc etc.
I guess this DNA test is the final straw in telling whether or not Kaufman is full of shit or otherwise, but from the zodaickiller.com forum discussions on him I read into, most of the more knowledgeable people seem to think he's just a quack. If it does prove to be a DNA match though, that would be pretty crazy. I think it's probably just BBQ sauce, heh. |
