WHOIS search to find email to ask for link trade
Is this practise considered ethical, legal?
I search so many sites which have no contact info which I would love a hardlink trade with. Your views? |

if you send a hand written message not a form letter its worth a try, whois is a public db
i meaa ive had strangers contact me asking to sell domains, old psycho ex gf's lots of AWESOME people contact me via whois |
God speaks through the whois.
|
Ok so far yes, any more views?
|
it can land you into serious trouble
|
I would figure this would be the 'correct' way. Before the times of linkex and thunderball. Maybe really the true ethical way?
|
I get e-mails like that all the time, even got a few good trades out of them.
|
You dont have to mention the way you got the mail, and if they tell you to fuck off, then fuck off.
Pretty simple. Just dont get mad at them if they tell you that. Move on. |
It's a good idea, im going to try it.
