Should you have to pay to update your domain registrant info?
I just tried to update my registrant info such as email address, home address, phone number, etc. with my current domain registrar (registerclub.com) and it wouldnt work. So I contacted them and they basically said I had to pay $10 per domain to update my personal information.
Is that even legal? I said to them "As far as paying $10 to modify my personal information, you can forget, I m transferring registrars, and reporting you guys to ICANN." They responded by saying "Hello Adam, your threat has been sent to our legal dept. Any and all libel will responded to, to the fullest extent of the law." What's wrong with people these days???? Charging $10 to update my home address? Then claiming I threatened them by saying I'm going to file a complaint? |
transfer your domains to another registar, they sound like a bunch of shitheads:glugglug

No, shouldnt have to pay to change anything. Those guys must be retarded. Just transfer the domain to a new register like directnic.com and tell those other guys to go fuck themself.
