What are your thoughts about what really happened?

Personally, I think that they used some sort of nervgas, to knock the fuckers out fast and efficient, bypassing gasmasks(clever Terrorists would have those).

They knew that it was veeery dangerous, but concluded that it was worth the risk, and the death of innocents was a fair and unavoidable price to pay...casualties of "war", so to speak...

I believe that they did the only thing that they could have done, but do you agree? Could the death of over 100 hostages have been avoided?

Killing hostages is not an option in my opinion. They said sleep deprevation & the fact the hostages had not eaten in days contributed to the deaths by sleeping gas.

I think that the operation was very well done, only mistake they made was not giving medical assistance near the theater, but transporting the hostages to the hospital. On the other hand maybe they where afraid that there where still bombs in the theater.

i saw on tv that the hospital where they stayed at was on the other side of the street of the theater...
