Is There Such A Thing As A Non-stimulant Weight Loss Supplement?
Most of the weight loss supplements I've seen have stimulants in them, and I really don't want something that will put me at any cardiac risk or interact with my current meds. Are there any weight loss aids that do not have stimulants in them?

slim fast?

Well there are some that could make you shit a whole lot. That could also cause weight loss but more than likely not in a healthy way.
This is one of those ask your doctor to refer you to a dietitian things. Most supplements are not even regulated and something as simple as a stupid ass dick pill could fuck with your current meds or endanger your life. |
good and healthy food: veggie and fruits!

sure man
eat lots of salad and fibre, no white starches excercise..although excercise is a stimulant..damn....well its good for you ive lost 15 pounds in 3.5 weeks on my diet..coupled with fast walking 4 times a week for one hour, and basket ball once a week for 3 hours:) |
All those supplements are bullshit. Lift weights, eat healthy, eat slightly less calories than you need and do some cardio= fat falling off of you.

Diet and exercise being the main key to weight loss, I will point out that the newest pharmaceutical weight loss medication, Acomplia, is a non-stimulant. It's approved in Europe. Xenical / Alli helps with weight loss without even messing with your brain -- the drug attaches itself to the fat you eat and prevents its digestion.

"Weight loss supplements" is just a great way to sell things on the internet. Don't do shit. |
best thing to do is take body building supplements.
lift weights, build muscle make sure you are replenishing with plenty of protein, glutamine, etc. do a little cardio as you build your muscles you will look like u lost fat weight and got in shape. you will look and feel so much better dieting is temporary. whether u are using supplements or starving yourself, you will just end up looking thin and weak. and once u go out to eat at a restaurant and break your diet, it all comes back. |
Thanks for the replies. Maybe I should have been a bit more informative in my original post: I am dieting and exercising, but I want to see if there is a supplement that would aid in my weight loss (as opposed to taking it in lieu of diet and exercise).
For exericse, I try to do 5 to 10 miles/day on the exercise bike. No weight lifting though as I exercise at home and I am without any weights. I do perform calisthenics, though. As for diet, I'm moving toward a diet where I eat five small meals per day, more fruits and veggies, less pizza and Chinese food. |

i personally think that 1 of the most important and NECESSARY elements of dieting is cooking your own meals 90% of the time... after you do this for a while, it becomes a lifestyle change & not so much a diet anymore eating out at most places is like shooting yourself in the foot when you're trying to lose weight |

veggies like carrots have sugar, as well as fruits which induces insulin which triggers... eat greens, protein and fiber, and tons of water. if you can keep up with just that you will do well.. I am losing 2-4 pounds a week. |
btw i do no exercise.. I just lowered my calories intake to 1500 a day.. because I should be at 2500.. 500calories - a day will lose you 1 pound a week.. and vise versa.
also try to focus on weights because 1 more pound of muscle burns 50-100calories a day. |
eat often and portion size.. size of your hand cupped... and 6 times a day.. to keep metabolism going.

Yeah there are tons of them.
Whether or not they work is a whole different story. |

Research EC Stack. Hopefully you're not allergic to Bronkaid.
Shit works. |
http://www.anafit.com/products.htm
I found these guys via a bodybuilding steroids forum that I found on accident when I followed a link to a freaky picture way back when. Anyways, the guys who post on these forums swear by these products and use them liberally when they're going through their "cutting" phase to get down to competition weight. I can't really say whether or not they work, just passing on what I've read. |
