Legal drinking age

Why is the legal drinking age in the USA still 21? How can they still justify that kind of madness? Why hasn't someone tried to change it to 18, which is what it is here in Australia and every other civilised nation.

And why don't you fuckers adopt the metric system?

What's going on?

Because the US is run by Christians who believe that consumption of alcohol is not right.

At one point in time the Federal government allowed states to reduce the drinking age to 18, in those states that chose to do it. Because of the number of increased traffic fatatlities among the under 21 age group the Federal Government ordered the states to raise the age to 21 if they wanted Federal funds for highways. This American does not want to change to the metric system.

See, just a disturbed loser kid. Maybe that's why he is so concerned about legal drinking age.
He might grow up. Who knows.

Of course I'm a kid. But I'm one of those kids who was born before The Beatles broke up. :1orglaugh

If you're an example of "growing up" then I think I'll stay a kid.

"THE Indonesian terrorist group Jemaah Islamiah (JI) has targeted northern Australia to form part of an Asian Islamic superstate, according to a secret intelligence report.

The report, to be detailed on tonight's ABC Four Corners program, comes from the Philippines, chosen by al-Qaeda as its first base in South-East Asia in 1988.

Philippines' national security adviser Roilo Golez told Four Corners intelligence indicated Australia was part of al-Qaeda's plan for an Asian Islamic state.

"That is something that your intelligence people would have to assess. Suffice it to say that the Jemaah Islamiah vision of a pan-Islamic state includes parts of northern Australia," he said on ABC radio"

I live in Brisbane. I'm sure you wouldn't know where that is. With your education you'd probably have difficulty picking out Australia on a world map.

I am going on a holiday but not to Indonesia. The place doesn't particularly interest me. I'll be in Europe. Do you know where that is?

drew 10-27-2002 11:05 PM

Ohhh, only you are smart joeboy, BTW I visited Brisbane( nice city BTW), Sydney and Perth.

Oh and Europe hmmm, I lived in Germany for a while. But didnt like Europe at all.
Too many people without any open space. Too crowded.
