Today's Supercar sighting was the.....
 

After being rained in all week due to tropical storm Fay I finally got a break today and was able to go out and get some errands done. Along the way I spotted this beauty out getting a little sunshine of her own.

Getting to see cars like this $500,000 Mercedes-Benz SLR Mclaren always puts a smile on my face :)

I have a 2004 Mustang Cobra that does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds stock (and mine's not stock). I came across one of these fuckers at a light with an old man, gray hair, and racing gloves. I just laughed thinking I'm gonna smoke this geezer. Light turns green and we both punched the gas and this fucker left me behind like I was standing still.

I've never seen a car pull away from like that, including Ferraris.

Lesson learned!

LOL and when you get ABOVE 60MPH it'll only pull away faster as you run out of gearing ;) if you have more aggressive gearing in yours it'll destroy top speed in favor of a little more getup and go (stock gear on those cobras is perfect) 03/04 cobras hit 600HP insanely quickly. I had a 96 cobra a while back and will be getting an 03/04 in a couple of years. I'm waiting for the prices to come down a ways because I have a feeling there'll be some more problems popping up with them that'll cause some nice roadside finds and easy fixes for me...
