I booked mine today. That hotel is expensive as hell though. $245 per night for a standard room, plus a whole bunch of outrageous taxes and fees, PLUS you have to pay extra for high speed internet on top of that!

Hey Jim....

Great to see that you are coming!! Let's make sure to shake hands and let me buy you a cocktail.

Just so you know the "resort fee" that is charged by the hotel pays for unlimited internet, phone calls, faxes, newspaper delivered to your door, and some other stuff that you probably won't use. Most of the time just the internet is more than resort fee that we negotiated for everything.

As for the hotel not being cheap, I kind of agree. We wanted to make sure it was in a nice hotel. Many of the other shows charge the same amount but the hotel is not a "W". I can tell you that so far this hotel has bent over backwards for us and we are hoping that when everyone leaves the show they will say that they want it to be at the same place next year. They have been very accommodating and there is no reason to think that will change between now and the show.

Not trying to make excuses, just explaining a little. The bottom line is that I am psyched you are joining us and I want you to come prepared to do some business and have some fun (in that order) ;)

There's a show every three weeks now, it adds up fast! I think the Phoenix Forum was a lot more inexpensive. At least my airfare and the registration were very reasonable.

Just so you know...we charged the exact same rate at The Phoenix Forum except the suites in Atlanta are less expensive...but that is only because there are more of them so we could get them for less. Where else are you going to get a nice, one-bedroom suite in a "W" for $345 per night?

Again, look forward to seeing you, Jim!

Half the cost of NYC. I feel like it is a Motel 6 as far as rates are concerned.

Actually being from NYC and living in ATL for over 14 yrs. I would say ATL has more polite people but they aren't nicer by any stretch. NYC has real people. I prefer real ones I know where I stand with them. I look forward to meeting everyone at the show, hotel is in a very nice area.

I'll keep an eye peeled for you slim. I hear you are buddies with the zingerz. So I'll just look for the New Kids on the Block groupies.
