nope no money.. im back to internet biz.. making good $ again, so instead of paying $2k/month in NJ to live in so-so conditions, might as well spend $2k in panama or mexico and live much better, better weather, beaches, etc.. dont ya think?

I 4got about working 9-5. my internet biz now is not making me $ like it used to, yrs ago could do $$5k/day :( , but its more than 9-5

my gf is the prob tho, she cant move with me, and honestly i feel bad living her here. I would ideally like to move alone though but shes done al ot for me, shes sweet, nice, shes just a lil boring and im tired of the relationship.. I told her i might move and shes been crying since.. pfft

If you ever make it to a site called CNN or New York Times or Google News you might want to X Mexico off the list. You know, with all the beheadings, police being executed in the streets, gun battles, and kidnappings (second only to Iraq).

I'd be doing some internet research rather then asking GFYers.... but that's just me.

Mexico is cool, do not believe all the news, ya gotta watch out in certain areas but overall country is great. Cool people, great weather and wonderful beaches.

Panama would be my pick, hoties and good weather except aug to nov rains

I would say Mexico, some where near the ocean but I'm biased.

I'd say spend a couple months in each country and make your pick. And yes, Mexico is way way too big a country to make generalizations.

I haven't been to CR or Panama, but there ARE great places to live in mexico. If I were single I'd move to southeast asia or eastern europe.

I plan to move to Mexico in the next few years, my wife is from Mexico City.. Big family, better food, nice people.. And can actually do something other than work work work to maintain a decent living.

But yeah, their police aren't really designed to help you, nobody is there to help you. You're pretty much on your own, so that takes a bit of a mentality switch. It's not like here, where you know the legal consequences will scare criminals away... My wife's cousin was murdered in his car.. Someone walked up and stuck a gun to his head to steal his car, guess he said no, and the guy just blew his head off, broad daylight.. Left the car.

I'd go for Panama although I am biased because that's where I grew up. But it is an awesome place to live and the rains suck but that's true for CR as well. Panama is just like living in the states nowadays just a lot cheaper.

forget about eastern europe, prices are as high as in usa, unless you think about belarus /or ukraine...

ALSO how many months does it rain in panama? yeah i heart panama but the rain is scaring me away. I want a tropical paradise,(no/little rain all yr, no snow either)
