Warning Pages On Affiliate Links?

Would you promote a program that sends the surfer to a warning page you know enter if you are 18+ page? What is the law on that. Do programs need to send affiliate links to a warning page?

Im not looking for legal advice. I just see tons of US based programs not sending to warning pages and I have one sponsor saying they have to by law.

Wouldnt that kill conversions?

We assume that our affiliates have already screened the surfer thru their own warning page.
