WTF is wrong with people? (RANT)

One of my best friends and a past roommate passed away last year. I set up a website in his memory and allowed people to post comments.

Some JERKOFFF decided it would be a good idea to SPAM Viagra and other bullshit on the site.

Now I have to go in there and put Captcha in just to keep these idiots out.

I guess people have no shame and no respect.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss... but if it makes you feel any better, I doubt any person did that. It was probably a bot.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get comment spam to stop in wordpress, any fucking version of it....tried turning off comments obviously, renaming the comments file, deleting it, and still these fucks get through.

For Wordpress I have a setting that grabs all comments with links and sends them to queue... then I just end up deleting them because they're all spam hah...

Yeah, they never actually show up on my pages, they just clog my fucking admin up, and there doesn't seem to be a way in the newest wordpress to display more than 25 comments per page when editing them...100% useless when you've got like 6000 in the queue.

That is because a robot spammed you...

I used to have a table of domain words I wouldn't do shit like this to. kids, child, school, church, jesus, teen, mother, moms, young, babies, baby, .gov, .edu etc...

Russians have no concept of doing things on the down low...

I also avoided a ton of problems because no one ever complained about my comment spams... The people in my list were also the same group most likely to complain and to know just who to complain to and how to get that information.
