I think I have seen this "just keep the logos intact" at least 20 times this year alone.

I have stated that a number of times,yes. I do not mind people having fun with the shots, that is part of what its all about.

I do realize that keeping them intact, specially in chops is kind of hard and I do look the other way from time to time,on borderline cases, but rebranding is going a bit too far.
