Youtube taking a dive?
 

I am starting to think so.

It seems they are removing videos by the thousands.
The Music area is toast and even user contributed music is toast, even the stupid amateur ones of guys doing solo's iwht horrid sound of thier own are fucking toast.

ALways get this "We're Sorry this video has been removed". sort of thing.

I am not sure what categories they are deleting but it's looking like a ton.
I am thinking GOogle wants to keep the deletions on the downlow as they have no idea what to do with Youtube at this point other than maybe attempt to sell it.

They are deleting low key for a reason and without warning even on non copyrighted stuff that is really user submited.

Or a retard who doesn't realize how much educational stuff is on there because they have the mentality of an 11 year old. Youtube is a great site, and not only changing the internet, but also often changing the world. From the emerging videos of Egyptian police abuse to the the spread of news and media from alternate voices like Al Jazeera English to the documentaries and current affairs journalism from BBC and journeymanpictures to the (unauthorized though very interesting) documentaries on all topics, from nuclear physics to space, to simple fact that it helps further open up closed societies to the entire world. It is part of the new media, and I am sure (even if it faces major changes) it won't go anywhere.

Youtube consists of mostly annoying attention whores like yourself who seem to have an opinion on anything and everything to douchebags that make utterley pointless and benile videos to wannabe affiliates that post garbage 15 second cam clips they ripped off to stupid Obama clips to crappy Japanese pop videos to annoying unfunny videos that get 5 million views for god knows what reason...oh wait, because the site attracts mostly kids that are into cheap laughs. I find it to be a good way to share videos and what not, but the amount of stolen content is amazing. I also understand that to police something that big would be very hard.
