I'm not sure if you're kidding or what. Sam Kinison died in 1992 in Laughlin Nevada, in a car wreck while on the way to a show.

He did Troy McClure and a shit load of others on the Simpsons...but Homer was not one of them.

In addition, he did the voices of countless other bit characters. He added spice to The Simpsons with his wonderful talents, and he will be sorely missed.
