How do you figure those are shitty bands?

I guess "shitty" is a very relative term. No regrets here. I'd say the Red hot chili peppers but I never liked them to begin with.

Pearl Jam? I can see not liking the music, but regret? I'm not a big PJ fan but they have a few kick ass songs.

Well i can't say I have ever listened to Hansen (although I really regret watching that Deal or no Deal where all this lady would talk about is how she loves Hansen and she's in her 30s or 40s possibly... was kinda creepy.) I do give my vote for Britney. :disgust

don't know about regret, but looking back Dokken overall kinda sucked but damn I still love George Lynch's guitar playing!

I didn't think any you listed are shitty. I will admit to being a big Hall and Oates fan. I don't find them particularly shitty but they don't fit *at all* with the rest of my musical taste which is primarily punk and indie.

Anything (clothes, hair, attitudes, movies etc) spawned during the 80's is outright fucking junk. At least IME!
Why, the eighties is what made me vomit so ferociously that I have not been able to stomach any music which has vocals. I can still taste the bile and chunks!

I have an excuse for my mistakes from the eighties ... of course:
my 80's (and 90's) = the 60's for all them acid babies and hippies!
