VOIP services question... I got a second cable modem for the home with a telephone ..
 

I got a second cable modem for the home with a telephone jack for VOIP on the modem....

Now from the modem i can take the Rj-11 jackk and plug into the existing RJ-11 wall outlet and all the phone outlets in the home will now ring???????

$50 says i blow up the wiring or something

This - and most VoIP boxes don't have the power to handle multiple phones connected. Two, perhaps. If you connect it to your whole house, you're probably going to fry the beast.

Yep make sure to check out the things, it can get a little bit confusing with all the wires, etc... Maybe you can call the VoIP co for instructions, or go to google.
